Description
Up for auction is a rare original deep groove mono pressing of Gil Melle Quartet 'Plays Primitive Moods' LP on Prestige Records PRLP-7040. Other musicians include Joe Cindrella, Billy Phillips, and Edmund Thigpen.
Record info:
Excellent condition with minor surface noise. It plays great!
Cover info:
Solid VG+ with solid seams except for a tiny split on bottom right corner. The top left corner has noticeable creasing and a small sticker stain. The back cover has a 'Not For Sale' promo stamp on it, a sticker with the name of the previous owner on upper left corner, and some age staining.
Label / Pressing info:
Original yellow/black W. 50th St address label, deep groove with RVG initials on both sides in the dead wax area.
Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.
Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $10 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.
International shipping will be $18. I reserve the right to request registered or courier mail for high value items and to some countries (Italy, Brazil, Russia) due to the unreliability of their postal services.
