Description
Here for sale is a very old box 78" Shellac box set by Gilbert and Sullivan entitled "The Pirates of Penzance". The folder the records come in is in good/very good cosmetic condition with the occasional mark and discolouration through age, but the spine of the folder is fully intact as are the paper sleeves inside that house the shellacs.
The shellacs are in VG+ condition and appear to have been barely played. Any scratches/marks are strictly superficial and could be removed with specialist cleaning equipment or a good wipe.
This is one of 5 Gilbert and Sullivan box set Operas that we will be listing as we received a large donation from a member of the public. Over the next few weeks we will be listing some rare single-sided shellacs pre-1920's and some very rare white labels. We also have lots of classical, band music and a few popular artists in 10 and 12".
