Not done yet, here is another ferocious classic of the boogaloo and early salsa scene, Gilberto Y Su Sexteto's fantastic Cotique label gem El Ritmo Excitante (The Groovy Sounds).  This is the original Mono release from the lgendary Cotique label, featuring killer salsa, guaracha, son montuno, and boogaloo tunes throughout. Where else but the latin boogaloo scene could you find interpretions of Hang On Sloopy, La Bamba, and Guantanamera on one single track!!!! This album is a monster, all I can say!! Only serious collectors and real aficionados need apply!!! ...Don't miss it!!
