Nice copy of this incredibly rare album!! This is the first UK MONO pressing on the legendary Deram label! This has been in my collection for years, and I have not seen another mono one since! This album is a legend in it's own right - it came out in 1968 to little fanfare and quietly slipped under the radar, it allegedly only sold 600 copies at the time. Musically, it is a mixture of early prog rock, psychedelia, jazz and bizarre Pythonesque humour. Quite an album! It still amazes me that Deram reissued it in 1970 hoping it might fare better, of course it didn't. The key to this album is the fact that Fripp was of course Robert Fripp and he and Michael Giles (pulling the hilariously over-the-top smile on the cover) went on to form King Crimson in 1969. I picked this album up years ago and am only selling it as I have found a stereo one. In my opinion, the mono pressings turn up less but they are both as rare as eachother. This is just a rare album, simple as that!! This is incredibly hard to find, especially in such nice shape!! Don't miss out!
Vinyl is in EX condition : has a few light marks, one slightly larger mark in between Suite No. 1 and Erudite Eyes which does not sound, has some light surface noise occasionally but looks and sounds great overall
Front-laminated sleeve is in VG+ condition : looks great for it's age, the front has retained it's full colour and only has some light ring wear, all the laminate is intact, there are some handling creases and some bubbling at the spine, there is also a crease on the bottom right corner, the back has some light ring wear, and a small scuff in the middle of the side 1 listing (see pic) and some light staining at the opening (see pic), looks nice overall
Decca poly-lined inner sleeve is in VG+ condition
