A little sensation!
Up for auction is an absolutely MINT condition record "Trumpet Summit", Pablo records 1980, first german pressing.
At the inside of the FOC, the entire(!) band has set their original autographs! Freddie Hubbard, Clark Terry, Dizzy Gillespie,Oscar Peterson, Ray Brown, Joe Pass and Bobby Durham!
This record comes from the collection of one of the most passionate german jazz collectors, who recently passed away at the age of 90 years.
He did not miss any important jazz concert in Germany since the end of the 1940ies up to now and most of the musicians he knew in person. Many of the most famous jazz musicians like Peterson, Brubeck etc. would even send him X-Mas cards and sign all his records and photos for him.
This particular record was released in 1980 and it was as well signed then. Dizzy`s autograph has a small "80" under his name.
