Side One: Violin Concerto In D Minor Op.47 - First and second movement (With The Philharmonia Orchestra (cond. Walter Susskind).
Side Two: Band 1: Third movement
Bands 2-5: Suk - Four Pieces (Ginette Neveu with Jean Neveu (piano)
The vinyl is visually in super EX condition, with just a couple of small, very light surface marks that do not affect play. Lovely shine to the vinyl.
Please be aware that these recordings were pre-tape, so some surface noise is inherent to the recording. Ginette and Jean Neveu were sadly killed in a plane crash in 1949. The recording is also often at a very quiet level so some noises are evident.
The labels are fine with no spindle marks or damage at all, with only a little age spotting. The text is fully readable.
The cover is all complete, no rips or writing to the card BUT - and this really is the only drawback, the laminate has peeled and been removed in quite a large area, mainly noticeable on the front, but also some on the rear sleeve too. The corners, flipbacks, spine are solid. There is some mild storage impression but due to the aforementioned laminate loss, I can only grade the sleeve as Very Good.
The stamped matrix numbers and stamper codes, fund in the lead-out grooves are:
Side One: XAX 460-1N (1 2-GD stamper codes)
Side Two: XAX 461-1N (1 4 (below the 1) -L
Original inner sleeve still very white, mild handling/use signs with the poly lined inner still intact, and quite acceptable.
Overall, sweet looking vinyl, but with a portion of laminate missing from the sleeve, but a hard record to locate.
