Ginette Neveu record, Jean Sibelius Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in D Minor (Op.47), and Joseph Suk 4 Pieces (Op.17) on reverse. Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Walter Susskind. Vintage vinyl LP, Angel Records 35129 mono with release date of 1954. Fully listenable copy of her beloved recording. Neveu (1919-1949) was an amazing violin prodigy from France who died very young in a plane crash along with her concert pianist brother and collaborator. Sibelius himself commended her for the sensitive rendering of his work.
Sought after vinyl with Matisse cover and unusual original inner sleeve in collectible condition.
