His Master´s Voice. ALP 1104. Red/Brown/Golden letters with dog circle deep groove label. Mono. UK 195?.
White paper Made In England inner sleeve with a small HMV sticker.
First press. Flipback halfmoon cover. Laminated both sides.
Graded cover/record VG/VG
Cover has wear and small splits at corners and at flips, but still a nice appearance.Clean labels. The vinyl is shiny but has som shadiness on the surface of side 1. There are a few clusters with surface marks on both sides.two on side 1 and one on side 2. Also a few ultralight hairlines.
There are parts with light background crackles and very light ticks.But the play performance is excellent on the most part of the recording.
A very rare and fine recording of this excellent italian/english violinist.No stereo edition exists of this recording.
I will pack well with record out of outer cover, in plastic sleeve, bubblewrap, extra cardboard, also at corners and in cardboard box.
I grade conservately. First visual but mostly also through listening through. However grading is a subjective orientation not scientific fact.All vintage records may have some degree of light occasional noise due to static, pressing quality, use of equipment etc, even if vinyl surface is clean.
