Giorgio Azzolini  ' Tribute to someone '  CIAO RAGAZZI !  CR LP 05000 ( IT ) very rare first issue with small European deep grrove - recorded in MIlano, May 30, 1964 - has fully laminated cover
Giorgio Azzolini : bass with Franco Ambrosetti : trumpet - Gato Barbieri : tenor sax - Dino Piana : trombone - Pocho Gatti or Renato Sellani : piano - Lionello Bionda : drums Side 1 : Tribute to someone (Hancock) - So what (M.Davis) - Too blue (V.Feldman) Side 2 : Sometime ago (S.Mihanovic) - The stroller (Golson) - Hiroshima (G.Barbieri)
Visual grading : record is VG- to VG because of some light paper scuffs, surface marks and few more evident scratches but not heavy ones. One mark is expecially evident on side 2 - take 1 because is larger than other but it is light and unfeelable at the touch. Other than that record still retains a nice lustre and delivers a great audio playback
Playing grading : record plays VG with clear crystal sound, only has a light occasional background noise mostly on side 1 below music's level. This noise is always light and audible only in a quieter parts. Side 2 plays better almost VG+
Cover grading : cover is VG++ fully laminated with a very light ringwear on front and back and few light creases around the edges. A very nive cover
This is one of the rarest and best Italian Jazz record of 60's
