Glenn Branca - The Ascension 99 Records - 99-001LP, Black Label release from 1981.
"The Ascension" is the debut studio album by Glenn Branca, who experimented with resonances generated by alternate tunings for multiple electric guitars. One of the guitarists is Lee Ranaldo, who went on to fame with Sonic Youth. The iconic black-and-white cover art is a painting from New York artist Robert Longo's "Men in the Cities Series".
CONDITION:
This copy of the album is in beautiful condition, but please examine the detailed photos before bidding. The record is Near Mint, plays perfectly and sounds great. The jacket has very light wear and some yellowing around the edges. On the back, there are 2 creases that run across the top and bottom, about 1/2 inch from the edges, which seems like a result of the manufacturing process.  The corners are slightly crunched, but overall this is a highly coveted album in really nice shape.
