Description
Ludwig van Beethoven: The Nine Symphonies.
Günter Wand conducting the Symphony Orchestra of the NDR.
German Harmonia Mundi/ EMI or RCA digital stereo pressings.
The recordings were made between 1985 and 1989, and it seems as if licenses for Harmonia Recordings in Germany changed in that time.
The latest recorded are Nos. 2 & 4 which were issued by RCA, No.6 and No.3 were still exclusively issued by Harmonia Mundi, the others are EMI editions.
Anyway, conductor and orchestra are all identical, all are original Harmonia Mundi productions and all should be first pressings. Six LPs, five are in fold-out covers.
I believe that these have hardly ever been presented in one lot!

Condition Cover: EX. Minimal wear, the RCA LP is still in shrink, but there are some spots on the inside of two LPs.

Condition Vinyl: NM. Looks like a perfect unplayed set.

About my record-grading:
All records are described as accurately as possible and I will always prefer a more detailed depiction of the actual status, but usually I’ll only visually grade the records.
Please note that old records that were stored in shelves for a long time might have static noises even if they still look like new. Professional cleaning will almost always solve that problem.
Dust on records will generally not influence my gradings but if records appear to have stronger signs of soiling, I will give them a professional cleaning and playgrade them to get a more objective view on what their condition is actually like.
