Godspeed You Black Emperor! - f#a#? | original 1997 LP
Very rare 1997 original LP with textured cover featuring affixed photo and embossed lettering, includes all original artworks and inserts plus the actual penny smashed on rail road tracks. Even the plastic sleeve has a sticker displaying that this is indeed the original 1997 release. This record has never been played and has been safely stored for years, making this as pristine and in as near mint condition as can be.
As you can see from the photos, the cover has the embossed lettering and a photo of a locomotive affixed; the next photo shows all the goodies that came with the record, including two gorgeous prints, a couple of flyers (one an advertisement for a show and the other listed items available through mailorder at Constellation Records); and of course, the legendary penny flattened by a train. All of this stuff is in excellent condition and has barely been handled outside the envelope they came in; the third photo shows the back cover with the cross hand-written in silver marker and an enlarged section showing the Constellation Records catalogue number (cst003) and the label's logo; and finally, the last photo is of the plastic sleeve that the record came in, indicating the band & album name and the all important 'original 1997 lp'.
