Description

This is part of a big auction full of rockabilly record from Checker, Decca, Imperial and several very small label.  Great stuff that doesn't come up for sale often.  Many of these are promos or have original sleeves and almost all all are in great shape.

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1958


Notes: The one and only record put out by this artist.  Definitely an obscure and seemingly amateur musician.  The A-side is a great rocker - rough but very cool.  The B-side is more of an R&B leaning ballad that seems to have a barrowed melody from Blueberry Hill. 

 

Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with just some very light surface scuffing in spots. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all.  Label is super-clean with no marks/tears/stickers, again just some very light scuffing.  This is an overall nice copy that I think just jumps over the bar to VG+.
