This is an auction for 'Golden Earring Seven Tears LP original UK release ex/ex'
Excellent condition 1971 stereo LP, the worlds longest lasting rock band's experimental heavy rock LP.
Matrix nos 2310 135 S1 I71 Z1 / 2310 135 S2 I71 Z1
Sleeve Excellent; matt flipback sleeve. Spines and corners still sharp. Slight creasing front and rear, some near open edge, light ring wear to rear, no tears or writing.
Generic poly lined white paper inner sleeve.
Labels No visible spindle wear, no marks or writing,
Vinyl. Visually Excellent plus, bright and shiny, hairlines only. Plays Excellently, very little surface noise.
I bought this 2nd hand in 1980 and have looked after it very well. As far as I know this is the UK release (it was a gatefold in Netherlands) but it may not have been manufactured here. The P date is not on the label but etched into the run off groove area!

Golden Earring have been together since 1961 and had the same line-up since 1970! That includes both founding members George Kooymans (vocals and guitar) and Rinus Gerritsen (bass, keyboard) with Barry Hay (vocals, guitar, flute and saxophone) who joined 1968 and Cesar Zuiderwijk (drums) in 1970. They are still working, mostly now in their home the Netherlands, last in the UK in April 2009. If you get the chance go and see them, they are excellent!!
