Description
Excellent condition copy of Gomez's Liquid Skin album on rare double 12" vinyl gatefold. I've graded according to the record collector guide, which I've copied in below. The Vinyl is Mint-/Exc+, I can find one light scuff mark on one of the records, but I listened to it and can't hear it at all, all the other sides look completely unplayed. The cover is Exc, shows light shelf wear and is not quite as clean as when new as it's been mixed up in my record collection, but no creases or marks that I can find. I bought this new and it's been in my collection ever since, but I never listen to it so it's time for it to move on.
I'm also selling a vinyl copy of 'Abandoned Shopping Trolley Hotline.' If you buy more than one item I'll combine postage at a discount. I'm not trying to make money on the postage. This one is quite heavy though as it's double vinyl, hence the expensive postage.
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
I inspected this again in bright sunlight, and I can see a few more light scuff marks than when I wrote the item description. They're not from playing, they're the kind of very light surface marks that you get from having a record in a card sleeve, as this record was supplied, but they're there all the same and in all honesty I'd have to downgrade the rating to Exc+/Exc.
