Description
Virgin Records ARHSLP025 180-gram 50th Anniversary Edition Half-Speed Mastered at Abbey Road studios. Mastering at half-speed gives it superior high-frequency treble as well as being more precise overall. Opened but not played. I wanted to check out the booklet which is a reproduction of the original that was only included with the first UK release. The booklet has the lyrics as well as a history of the planet Gong and its characters. Also gives a breakdown of the musicians. It comes on the same "White Twins" label as the original First pressings. The album includes a silver-stamped certificate of authenticity. This is probably the finest version of this album available, but I would rather keep the second pressing "Colored Twins" version I already have. Ships from the United States so you will receive it quicker than overseas.
