"Goofy Gifts Again" #FIID-12. Short one-liner comic radio spots. This record has 30 cuts, each 10 seconds long. Both sides are about what kind of gifts to get for mommy and/or daddy. Each cut on Side A begins with a kiddie singing "What kinda gift can I give my daddy" followed by a man's voice giving cute little gift ideas: how about some dark glasses & a shady past, a tennis racked & a fixed horse race, a baseball glove and a 5 fingered baseball, a trip to Las Vegas and a pair of loaded dice, an electric peach picker for the current crop, an upper plate & a flying saucer, a Volkswagen with a snow plow, a set of bookends from Mystery Stories, an easy chair & a hard cross-word puzzle, a 22 rifle and 21 bullets, some slippers & a bad luck, a submarine with a leaky hatch, a pheasant under glass & a bottle opener, a solitaire game & a divorce, and lastly, a night shirt & a long day. Each cut on Side B begins with a kiddie singing "Hey what kind of gift can I get my mommy?" followed by the same man's voice giving these suggestions: a subscription to Popular Mechanics and a date with one of them, a Paris gown & deportation papers, vanishing cream & a search warrant, artificial fruit & false teeth, a bottle of nail polish & rusty nails, a sewing machine & a roomful of holes, a drivers license & an open field, a new dishwasher & dad a night out, alligator shoes & swimming lessons, a bowling ball & putting her out in the alley, a box of powder & some empty shells, a flat iron & bumpy sheets, Cannon towels & a wet cannon, leg of lamb and a judo, and lastly, wooden shoes & a pair of tweezers. This record is not locked groove. Vinyl is in VG++ condition. Cover is the company paper sleeve.
