Description

Goons ,Pick Of The Goons 87 & 88,LP, Catalogue Number: (110596 & 110597), Cover Details: Yellow poly lined die cut paper sleeve with a N/A.

Cover Condition: very good condition with some creasing or marks as seen in the pictures or noted.

Record Condition: Has been played a fair amount and clearly shows surface marks which are likely to affect play in some way with background noise in most of the quiet parts & possibly the odd click but should not jump or skip.

Any Other Details: Very rare original BBC Transcription Service Pressing. These discs are made by the BBC for Commonwealth Countries to play on their radio stations and the World service. Housed in a yellow poly lined paper sleeve with the title "A BBC Programme" (as issued). The record contains part 87, Ye Bandit Of Sherwood Forest (Christmas Edition) and part 88, The Dreaded Batter Pudding Hurler with the expiry date of 30.6.67. The record labels have been stamped by the radio station with the broadcast dates. The Goons are Spike Milligan, Harry Secombe, Peter Sellers and from 1951 - 1953 Michael Bentine. The record has a couple of scratches on part 87 and two marks at the begining of part 88 these caused a few clicks but no jumps or sticks when played through on our machine. The sleeve has a tear to the front die cut and some stains to the front and back. This week we are listing several of these please see our listing for more.
