I've been collecting records for 41 years. It's time to start selling some.
Up for bid is a RARE original release from 1971 on AME Records(AME 7000). It is a CANADA ONLY pressing. It is still in its original shrink-wrap. Hard to find lp featuring very hard to find recordings by this legendary Canadian singer-songwriter. Released shortly after the success of "If You Could Read My Mind", this album is comprised of recordings discovered in the archives of Chateau Records...most of which were released on 45 rpm records, although three of the selections were written and performed by Lightfoot and were not available until the release of this compilation lp. These recordings(mostly of the folk variety...although he did dabble in some rockabilly) are from the early 1960s. Apparently, Lightfoot bought as many copies of this lp as he could at the time of release, making this record all the more difficult to find. A must for Lightfoot fans/collectors.
