Very rare Gorillaz Demon Days Skateboard deck. Genuine original collectors piece. EMI Records US Promotional item only, not made for sale in retail stores. Deleted item.
Only 500 boards made worldwide as a promo for the 2005 Demon Days album, only 100 were available through the Gorillaz, 400 through the record label. I received this as a promo gift from the label when working in the music business.
Manufactured by 5Boro NYC and features their logo on the standing side of the skateboard along with the album artwork designed by comic book artists Jamie Hewlett showing the 4 Gorrilaz 'band members' in profile. Printed with the words: 'Gorillaz Limited Edition Days Model by 5Boronyc'
Custom printed with the unique Jamie Hewlett demon artwork on the underside (truck side).
Pre-drilled with 4 sets of 2 holes. Add wheels to skate or would look fantastic hung on the wall as a Gorillaz collectors piece.
Design concept by Gorillaz, Jamie Hewlett and Mark Nardelli creative director of 5Borosnyc.
Measures 80cms (31.5 inches) long by 20 cms (8 inches) wide.
Still sealed in factory shrink wrap cellophane.Never used. Selling from a personal collection.
Will be mailed out bubble wrapped and very well packaged.
