Gorillaz - Demon Days (2016 “smoky clear” unofficial release)
The vinyl is in Very Good condition. Nothing deep. Maybe a few marks, but nothing noticeable. There is a spot that looks “sketchy” but it’s inside the wax and doesn’t effect play. Definitely not audiophile quality by any means, but more than good enough to preserve your nicer pressing of this classic. As was my purpose for owning this. Sleeve is a little rough. See pics! This release is an unofficial bootleg, the differences between the official release and this are:
• The Vinyl is pressed on clear transparent and not black
• The inner sleeves are white (the original one have one member of the band on each side and they are very heavy).
• The monkey and Noodle on the rear cover are both copied illustrations that when examined closely, are different than the original (the monkey is more obvious than Noodle, but both are different from the original). The monkey also has no shadow.
• The rear cover features an official, but different illustration of Murdoc, Russell, and 2D.
• The font used for this bootleg is different than that of the original.
• The original release was a gatefold 2xLP set with artwork for each song displayed inside, while this release is a single jacket.
• The spine text is in a different font and has the original catalog number with no spaces, but an added "GDD" prefacing the number (Gorillaz - Demon Days)
• There is no barcode or copyright information on the rear cover and the tracklisting is in a different font than the original.
