Description

This is part of a big auction full of gospel record from Peacock, Gospel, Savoy & Nashboro.  Great stuff that is often overlooked.  Many of these are promos and all are in great shape.

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1959


Notes: Original promo release with the black and white labels. The second of just three releases from the 50's before the group went on a 5 year break and came back in the mid-60's. Funky little mix of classic gospel sounds and more R&B-flavored gospel. Hard to find record and very little info on this group. 


Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape, very clean with almost no wear at all. Both sides play very well with no noticeable background noise.  No pops/ticks/skips, etc. Labels are really clean as well, just a bit of light scuffing.  This is a very nice copy overall.


Due to travel and the holidays, this will be my last auction of the year.  Mark me as a favorite though because I have some killer rockabilly and small label blues/R&B auctions coming in January.
