Description

4 78rpm acetate home recording "Audiodisc" brand records of the First Christian Church of Belleville Illinois' male quartet gospel group. Likely recorded at the church, these are dated May 15th 1952. There are 4 discs, 2 sides each except one marked "no good". Songs are For Me, Wayside Wells, Drifting Along, We'll Understand, Home Of The Soul, Hiding In My Savior's Love, and Let Me Live Close To Thee. The recording quality is very good for an audiodisc, the microphone placement and recording level were very good. All 4 discs are VG+ with light scuffs that don't affect play, they look and sound very nice. One disc has a couple chips on the edge, but far from the playing surface, so no issues there.
