Grachan Moncur III "Evolution" LP Blue Note 2015 75th Anniversary Limited Edition and STILL SEALED. New Condition. See pics... label photos are stock images. Hard-to-Find. No Reserve.
Evolution is the debut album led by the American trombonist Grachan Moncur III, recorded in 1963 and released on the Blue Note. AMAZING Line-Up! Featuring Lee Morgan, Jackie McLean and Bobby Hutcherson and the great Tony Williams! Two contemporaneous Jackie McLean albums (One Step Beyond and Destination... Out!) were also recorded in 1963. with Moncur, and featuring the same inside/out musical style. 
The Allmusic review by Steve Huey awarded the album 4½ stars and stated "With such an inventive debut, it's a shame Moncur didn't record more as a leader, which makes Evolution an even more important item for fans of Blue Note's avant-garde to track down".
