Up for auction is a stone original French BYG (Actuel) pressing (1969) of Grachan Moncur III's, "New Africa". Groundbreaking fairly early avant-jazz lp that has definitely stood the test of 50 years time. Archie Shepp on one track. The unheralded Dave Burrell is great on piano here. Essential free jazz lp.
DEAD WAX INFO:   BYG-2-A 529321?A? etched on Side 1 run-out and  BYG-2-B 529321?B? etched on Side 2 run-out. Stone original Stereo BYG (Actuel) French pressing. (1969).    VINYL VISUAL: VG+ and close to NM  with no issues worth mention. Labels show no play. Could probably use a cleaning for dust removal.  
VINYL PLAY GRADE: NM with very little noise, and about a good a listen as anything you could possibly find. Could use a cleaning, which might elevate this even more, as any noise seems to be related to minor dust pops.  
COVER VISUAL: VG+ and much better with little wear and some slight grime front cover only noticeable due to the fact that the front cover is mostly white. Would clean up very easy. Shows minor corner wear / shelf life. Small bump bottom seam. 
COMES WITH NON-ORIGINAL RICE PLASTIC LINED DIE-CUT PAPER INNER.

Play grade is done on a Thorens TD 165 through Yamaha amplification and JBL reference headphones (treble set high so there will be no surprises when you get the item). 
ALL ITEMS WILL BE SHIPPED WITH PROPER MAILERS AND EXTRA PADDING, PARTICULARLY AT THE CORNERS. I HAVE MADE FAR TOO MANY PURCHASES ON EBAY WHERE THE ITEM HAS ARRIVED WITH DINGED CORNERS DUE TO INADEQUATE PACKAGING MATERIAL. BY USING FOLDED BUBBLE WRAP IN ALL FOUR CORNERS, YOU CAN BE ASSURED OF AN ITEM WITHOUT DINGED CORNERS (OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND FOR THAT MATTER).             Non-tracked shipping throughout the U.S.A will be $13 CANADIAN per item, as will tracked shipping within Canada. Tracked shipping to the U.S.A. will be $16 CANADIAN for items under 500g, and slightly more for items over 500g. Most single sleeve items can be shipped as under 500g. Gatefolds and multi-sets will be over 500g. 
Being a reasonable person, I will be absorbing ALL of the shipping material cost, and some of the actual postage cost.

I do offer full refunds (excluding cost to get it back to me), on any item that is not satisfactory.       SINCE SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA IS RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE (Thank You Canada Post), I will rarely list gatefolds or multi-items for sale overseas. IF ANYONE OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA IS CRAZY INTERESTED IN ANY ITEM, I WILL QUOTE SHIPPING ON REQUEST. Since a lot of the stuff that I will be selling is of higher end quality, rarely will things be offered overseas. Sorry folks. Again, I can consider requests on an item-by-item basis.
