Description
Up for sale is an original first pressing 12" vinyl single of “The Real Slim Shady” by Eminem, released in 2000 during the legendary Marshall Mathers LP era. This copy is still factory sealed, which is becoming increasingly rare for vinyl from this period. Many copies from the early 2000s were opened, played by DJs, or heavily handled, so finding an original sealed example over 25 years later is getting harder and harder. The record has been professionally graded by VMG (Visual Vinyl Music Grading Company), giving buyers an independent and transparent assessment of the condition. VMG Grades Cover: 5.0 Spine: 8.5 Seal: 8.0 The 5.0 cover grade is due to a surface flaw on the back, top right corner of the sleeve. It appears to be surface damage only and does not go all the way through the sleeve, but it affects the appearance enough to impact the grading. Aside from that, the sleeve still displays well. The factory seal remains intact, and the spine presents very nicely with an 8.5 grade, which helps the record display well in a collection.
