Warner Bros - WS 3001 - STEREO - LP - 1970
Double LP, with a full colour gatefold sleeve with orange labels and original polybag inners. Old style presentation with sides 1 & 4 on disc one and sides 2 & 3 on disc two to accomodate auto-changer turntables - EX/EX
An great example of a hard to find issue showcasing the artist with several line-ups of his band. Its outer packaging shows a little wear on the front cover, however it is a fine copy that plays well, the treble is crisp and clean, the bass is full and undistorted. Sounds magnificent on the stereogram that I use to assess the surface condition.
The inside faces of the gatefold are clean and bright, there are no tears, scratches or hand written notes The track by track line-ups are provided by linking the titles to the individual's photos.

No ageing, slight creasing and spine wear
The vinyl is clean and sparkling, there some evidence of spindle rubbing but there are no scratches, the audio quality is fantastic.
Both inner sleeves are in a fine condition, this item is just over 40 years old and its contents have been well cared for.
The matrix stamps are WS 3001 A-2 and WS 3001 D-1 respectively.
The inner sleeves are original plain white poly lined. The inside itself is intact and clean.
I use the Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide, shown below for your reference, for grading the sleeve and vinyl separately. Sturdy thick card mailers are used for each single/double album. Multiple albums are boxed and bubble wrapped.

Record Collector's Grading System
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover or any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packing might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite notable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.
Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken and is only of use as a collection filler.
