Gram Parsons/The International Submarine Band - Safe At Home - Ultra Rare DJ Copy.

Condition is Used.

A piece of musical history.

So here, we have an ultra rare DJ vinyl copy of the International Submarine Band’s Safe At Home. I have seen sellers on Discogs listing this record between £200 and £400 for excellent/NM copies.

I would say that the condition of the cover is good+ maybe VG. There are some scuffs/dents on the four corners and a mark just below the LHI Records logo on the front.

The vinyl itself does have some visible surface marks and the odd scratch. There are also some weird marks that look like some kind of liquid was spilt on it (both sides). I have tried my best to show this in the photos.

I have played this once and there is some surface noise most notably between tracks with the odd pop. I wouldn’t say that it is distracting though with the exception of the first track on side 2 where you can hear a bit of noise during the song but this then disappears after a while.

Also, right towards the end of the very last track it does get stuck a couple of times. I cleaned it and played it again and it didn’t get stuck but obviously can’t guarantee that it won’t stick for you! This I think must be due to a scratch which I have tried to show photograph 6. Still, overall I enjoyed listening to this album again on my Rega turntable.
