Description
Gram-O-Phone 7in. Early Vintage Recording
Eldridge Johnson purchased the Berliner Gramophone Company after Berliner loses a legal battle over rights to manufacture flat-disc Gramophones. Johnson forms the Consolidated Talking Machine Company
The company was incorporated in Camden, New Jersey in October of 1901 by Eldridge R. Johnson. It was created by merger and reorganization of two existing companies: Emile Berliner's Berliner Gramophone Company, which produced disc records, and Johnson's Consolidated Talking Machine Company,The company was incorporated in Camden, New Jersey in October of 1901 by Eldridge R. Johnson. These pre Victor recordings are hard to find in good condition. On this recording the neat announcement and content are quite interesting.
The No. is A-57 and the title is "Gladstone's Speech on Self-Help. (By Wm. Hooley.)The record plays very well and is a great collectors item. Will ship to Canada and Europe
Good Luck and Thanks for Looking.
