I recently acquired a jazz collection from a surgeon in Pasadena, CA. It is immaculate! The release title "Grand Encounter: 2° East - 3° West." Featuring the musical talents of Jim Hall, Percy Heath, Bill Perkins, Chico Hamilton, and John Lewis, this LP is a first edition, first pressing from 1956 under the catalog number PJ-1217 from Pacific Jazz. This vinyl record is a must-have for any jazz enthusiast. Man, it really swings! The record is a 12" 33 RPM with mono audio channels, and the genre is bebop and cool jazz. Recorded in Los Angeles on February 10, 1956.
