Description
Grand Funk / We're An American Band / ERROR Marbleized Multi colored vinyl '73 West Coast 45rpm / NM+
Songs: We're An American Band & Creepin'
Original Capitol Records West Coast vinyl 1973 pressing of "We're An American Band" by Grand Funk Railroad. This 45 is very rare as it was originally pressed in Gold or Black vinyl. This one is an error pressing (authentic, but not listed in the Capitol catalog) that uses a mixture of different colors, creating a beautiful one-of-a-kind marbleized artwork. Usually created by an artistic employee at the L.A. pressing plant, after hours (sort of Graffiti art, think of artists Banksy, Haring, Lee Quinonez...Grand Funk), being outside the line creative. 45 is in NM+ condition, great clean sound and super glossy (see photos).
