Description
An excellent original recording of Grant Green - Am I Blue on the Blue Note label. This is the original Mono release of 1964, with the Deep Groove (deeper on Side 2 than Side 1), the Ear or Plastylite etching (visible only on Side 2) and VANGELDER (faint, but on both sides). Please see Photos 9 and 10 to see these hallmarks.
This recording session includes Grant Green on electric guitar; Joe Henderson on tenor sax; Johnny Coles on trumpet; John Patton on organ; and Ben Dixon on drums.
This record has has been cleaned and play-graded. The record surfaces are rated as Excellent, with glossy surfaces and no surface noise. This record is in its original inner paper sleeve. The record cover is in pristine condition - the front cover is clean and unmarked, and still covered in its original shrink-wrap (see photos). The only blemish - and the reason for the VG+ rating - is a stamped name on the back cover (It’s my name - Give me a break - I was young and foolish). The spine and seams are intact. The labels are clean and unmarked with very little spindle wear.
