"Grant's First Stand" LP
Blue Note 4064
Extremely rare deep groove mono original copy. LP is graded at VG/VG+. Plays beautifully throughout with light surface noise which as mentioned below, is likely to improve with a cleaning. Light scuffing on vinyl. Listening improves slightly as each side progresses. A couple pops on first track, mid way, but not unlistenable by any stretch. These original pressings play great even with a lower grade. Absolutely no skipping or deep scratches. Cover is G+/VG. The front is glossy, some chipping on each side with what appears to be some water damage to the open side. Minor denting to the top and bottom corner. Small clear tape (2") to repair minor seam split on top. Back has staining and is discolored, but nothing is obscured (see pics).
47 West 63rd NYC on side 1 & 2. Deep Groove both sides. RVG,ear stamp and 9M in the dead wax trailoff along with with etched 4064 A&B. This is a rare one, very listenable and some wonderful music.
