Description

Item Description and Condition:
This sale is for an early (1st) 1961 pressing of Grant Green's "Green Street" from Blue Note, #4071. Deep Groove, Ear Van Gelder in dead wax. This copy has some pretty persistent background static throughout, and some audible pops on side 1; notable is the first two minutes of Side 1, where the static rises to an almost distracting level for two minutes and then fades back into the default level static. Some light marks which I do not believe are responsible for the static. No skips throughout the LP. The opening bidding price will reflect the problematics of this LP> a cleaner copy recently sold for over $700.     The jacket is VG with no splits on the seams...some light pencil marks on the back and a faded ink owner's name. See photos.
