Description
Grapefruit's 1968 Around 1st US album on Dunhill Records,first pressing.
George Alexander (Alexander Young) founding member of The Easybeats and Agnus and Malcom Young's of AC/DC brother. formed this band via a meeting at The Beatles Apple publishing in 1967, which the band were signed to.
John Lennon named them and they were managed by John's friend Terry Doran and John and Paul co- produced the song Lullaby that appears on this record and Derek Taylor The Beatles publicist did the rather humorous liner notes on it.
Condition: The record easily grades a Near Mint, it looks unplayed.
The record cover is in VG condition,there is some ring wear and a budget hole punch.
Comes with original Dunhill Records inner sleeve (see scan).
I've been collecting records for over 53 years now and this album is from my personal collection. I have thousands of records from mostly the 60's and 70's to go through to go though and will be listing in the coming months/years….It's going to take me some time to go through what I have.
