From the archives of a noted Australian rock’n’roll and entertainment historian comes this piece of classic rock music history. Grapefruit. Around Grapefruit LP. Australia pressing. 1968. Stateside. SOSL-10043. Stunning psychedelic rock album with strong AC/DC and Vand & Young connections; lead singer and bass guitarist is George Alexander, AKA Alex Young, older brother of George, Malcolm and Angus. While most of the family left for Australia in 1963 (and the rest, they say, is history), Alex stayed behind and eventually formed Grapefruit, which last just two years. Record is in Very Good Plus condition, very lightly played. The cover is in Very Good Plus condition with some ring wear, storage wear, bumped corner, former owner’s details in pen, and store price stamp.
