Description
For sale is a limited edition gold-colored vinyl 7-inch single of the last song (Box of Rain) played live by the Grateful Dead at Soldier Field in Chicago, IL on 9 July 1995. The B side has their first recorded song (Caution - Do Not Stop on Tracks) by The Emergency Crew at Golden State Recorders in San Francisco, CA on 3 November 1965.
The record was included in the Grateful Dead's 30 Trips Around the Sun boxset. Only 6500 were produced for this limited edition boxset spanning the band's career from 1965 to 1995.
Condition is NEW.
NOTE: I noticed some scratches on the "Caution - Do Not Stop on Tracks" side of the record (I think this was the side that faced the boxsets' hinged wooden top), which was subject to movement whenever someone opened the boxset. Personally, I think Rhino could have done a better job protecting the single with a paper insert. Regardless, I reduced the price $5.00 and placed the single in a paper insert, and then inside a clear vinyl protector.
