COMPLETE AND A SUPERB EXAMPLE.
This is a scarce UK Warner Vinyl LP for from Grateful Dead.
The album is on the Green *Warner* Record Labels, with P date 1968.
The Grateful Dead was an American rock band formed in 1965 in Palo Alto, California. The band was known for its unique and eclectic style, which fused elements of rock, folk, bluegrass, blues, reggae, country, improvisational jazz, psychedelia, and space rock, and for live performances of long musical improvisation. "Their music," writes Lenny Kaye, "touches on ground that most other groups don't even know exists." These various influences were distilled into a diverse and psychedelic whole that made the Grateful Dead "the pioneering Godfathers of the jam band world". They were ranked 57th in the issue The Greatest Artists of all Time by Rolling Stone magazine. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994 and their Barton Hall Concert at Cornell University (May 8, 1977) was added to the Library of Congress's National Recording Registry. The Grateful Dead has sold more than 35 million albums worldwide.
This album is in beautiful condition, very well cared for by it’s previous owner and played carefully only a few times, the LP, and very colourful outer sleeve are in amazing, immaculate condition.
Both record labels are in Mint Minus condition, super clean record labels with signs of just a couple of plays to each label.
The album plays without faults through all the Tracks.
The machine stampers, side1, WS 1749A-1, K 4602 1A, side2, WS 1749B-1, K 4602 1A .
Both sides of the beautiful vinyl disc is in superb outstanding Mint Minus condition, super clean glossy vinyl surfaces with just a couple of hairlines.
The LP comes in a Made in England inner bag in undamaged condition.
The Picture Sleeve is a really superb example in Near Mint condition. This sleeve is superb with light record storage signs to the front panel. There is a catalogue number sticker attached to the front.
The reverse panel of the sleeve is very clean and in Excellent Plus condition with just light handling signs, all three flipbacks, edges and corners are undamaged.
A superb outstanding example of this collectable Grateful Dead album!
