Description
"Quality Guaranteed," says so right there on the back cover. This is part of a well loved collection of Dead boots originally purchased in the mid 70's which I am currently listing. And this was one of my favorites. A beautifully intimate acoustic performance by Jerry, Bob and The New Riders, not high quality by today's standards, and the record pressing has some visible imperfections on the surface that do not effect the playing at all. (Stoned again at the pressing plant apparently.) Listening to it as I write, and it is full of emotion and truly great playing. Highlights include a gorgeous Know You Rider, the bluegrass gospel "Deep Water," a handful of Bobby and the Aces, and the sole NRPS song, Lodi.
