Description
Up for auction today is this 3 disc vinyl album copy of Europe '72 from The Grateful Dead. It is a repress from 1978 on the Warner Bros label, with the catalog number 3WX 2668. I offer if for sale with no reserve.
Jacket: tri-fold, moderate ring wear/rubbing present, some denting/softening/color loss at corners, very minor edge wear is present, 1.5 inch tear at bottom of spine with fraying (see pictures) inner gatefold mostly white with minor discoloration, graphics and photos are bright and colorful, legible spine, Warner Bros loss leaders inner sleeves included
Vinyl: 3 discs retain nice gloss and are very reflective, all sides have numerous hairline scratch marks when viewed under direct light (no marks could be felt with finger) disc 1 has several marks that are more visually prominent, marks did not seem to affect sound during play grading, labels are clean with minor spindle marks, minor paper scuff, very minor underlying static heard mainly during quieter moments and between songs, sometimes static is more prominent but never detracts from music, an occasional pop or crack is heard, music is right up front and punchy, crisp treble and rich bass, no skips or jumps
overall a great listening copy with minimal crackle/hiss
