This item is a first press promotional album released in 1974 on Grateful Dead Records by The Grateful Dead entitled ‘From The Mars Hotel’. Record label and number is Grateful Dead Records GD 102. Record itself is in excellent condition and looks as if it might have been played a couple of times. Record labels show very little light spindle wear (see photos). Promo record cover is in strong VG+ condition with flaws being three slight creases at the bottom of the cover near the lower right corner, a very small blemish on the front of the cover at the opening of the cover, a blemish on the back of the cover also at the opening, a crease at the bottom left corner on the back of the cover and a very slightly dented corner at the upper right corner. Front of the cover has the words ‘PROMOTION NOT FOR SALE’ stamped into the cover (see photos). See photos for song listings. Hard to find this Dead LP in this condition let alone a promo copy!
