Description
Up for auction is a copy of the self-titled debut album by The Grateful Dead. This is an original MONO pressing on the gold Warner Bros label. I'm clearing out some of my duplicate Grateful Dead albums this week, so check my other auctions!
The record is in VG- condition. Side one is VG, side two has three feelable scratches that create ticks/pops but not skips (on my stereo). Other than that, it's not a bad copy... not a "noisy throughout" player aside from those scratches.
The sleeve is in VG- condition. All seams have wear and were taped with scotch tape (bummer), there is a promo hole in the top-left corner and the small initials JP written near it in pen on the front. Please refer to the pics.
How I Sell (i.e., all the fine print stuff you acknowledge and agree to)
- I am not a professional record dealer, just a music lover selling items from my own collection.
- I use the Goldmine Standard of grading (no VG++ or E or whatever jive I've seen here from time to time), and if something needs to be expounded upon, I'll describe it.
- I only use the ratings Mint (M), Near Mint (NM), Very Good Plus (VG+), Very Good (VG), and Very Good Minus (VG-). I do not sell anything that would be less than VG-.
- I only use Mint (M) for sealed records.
- Unless I specifically state a disc has been play graded, assume it has been graded on sight only.
- Please do not message me with offers to end an auction early. Under absolutely no circumstances will I end an auction early for you. If I have enabled a "Best Offer" feature, use that to make your offer. Otherwise, place a bid and see how it shakes out.
- If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask!
- If you have a zero feedback or a rating below 90%, MESSAGE ME BEFORE BIDDING.
- Please pay within 5 days of auction end.
- If you receive your item and it is not as described, message me first before getting salty and throwing up some negative feedback.
- I leave feedback only after you leave feedback.
SHIPPING INFO
- If you have any questions about shipping, please ask them before the auction ends. I've tried to provide as much info as I can, but every situation is different. So again, if you have any questions about shipping (combined shipping rate, insurance, etc.), please let me know immediately and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
- I do offer combined shipping. If you win multiple items and you don't see combined shipping when you go to pay, please request an invoice from me and I will send it with the correct shipping price.
- I usually get to the post office two or three times a week to mail things out. When your purchase is shipped, I'll update eBay and provide a tracking number.
- My apologies, but I will not ship to Italy, Russian Federation, South Africa, or Brazil. Nothing personal, but I've just never had a good experience with the records actually arriving (or being withheld until extravagant import duties... over which I have zero control... are paid).
- If you live outside of the US and don't see shipping info for your area, contact me for a quote. My intention is not to profit from shipping; I am trying to be as accurate and honest as I can.
