Grateful Dead, 'Skull F**k Live 71'.

Original UK Warners green label stereo press double live LP.
The seventh lp by The Grateful Dead and their second live album, released October 24, 1971. Although the eponymous album was published without a title, it is generally referred to as 'Skull and Roses' due to the iconic cover art. The band originally wanted to call the album 'Skull F**k', but not surprisingly, Warner Brothers objected. Comes with sides A & D and Sides B & C on different discs and the earliest A-1 B-1 etc. matrices of the very first press!

The Gothic Printers matt gatefold sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some very light corner/edge wear and some light rubbing on the outer cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain inners are intact & in EX condition!   The records are in visually EX+ condition, with no bad marks or scratches and only one or two very wispy & faint sleeve removal hairlines visible under bright light on each side. The labels are in EX+ condition, undamaged, clean & bright with evidence of one or two very faint spindle markings!   The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout with no loud crackle, hiss, skips, sticks or jumps, but there ois some very brief background noise during the run in grooves, Overall, a really great, loud and clear listen!   The matrix nos. are; K-66009, A-1, stamper B-7, D-1 stamper A-26, B-1 stamper A-21, C-1 stamper B-2. This is one of the early pressings of the original 1971 UK stereo 1st issue of this classic album!

  All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund on return of the record, no problems!   All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide.   All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!
UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's up to 2KG!
  Will post to Europe (including all EU countries & Russia, Sweden, etc.) and Rest of the World (USA, Japan, Australia, Korea etc.), but airmail is limited to 4 or 5 lp's due to weight restrictions.

Rest of the World, 1 LP £13.00, extra single LP's £4.00.
