This rare promo disc was sent to radio stations by Arista Records in 1977 to promote the Dead's album, Terrapin Station. This first pressing, made at the Columbia Records pressing plant in Santa Maria, CA, had separate banding on Side Two so that deejays could select for airplay individual parts of the long Terrapin Station suite. 
This is a lucky find (or gift) for any completist fan of the Dead.
Try to find another one at this price and in this condition!
