Grateful Dead The Warner Bros Studio Albums Boxed Set 2010 - NM/EX- condition
This is a superb boxed set of the first five Grateful Dead studio albums with an excellent photo booklet which I bought new on first release.
"Limited Edition on 180 gram vinyl pressed at RTI. Features the original mixes of Anthem Of The Sun and Aoxomoxoa unavailable on vinyl for nearly 40 years.
All original replica packaging. Lacquers cut from the original analog masters by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering. Includes new 16-page 12" x 12" book featuring previously unpublished photos of the band and new notes by Blair Jackson"
The vinyl is in near mint condition, probably only played one or two times on my Pro-Ject X2 and Ortofon 2M black cartridge. I still have the original records so I had no need to play them! Aoxomoxoa is the ultra-rare original mix. The outer box is in excellent condition but a couple of the albums have some minor creasing. There is also some edge fraying on each bottom edge due to the 180g vinyl shifting in transit (this was there from the start, it doesn't detract from the overall appearance, see photos).
This is a boxed set to play and enjoy rather than collect although it's still in great condition overall.

Record gradings are conventionally shown 'vinyl/sleeve' grading from (M)int, (EX)cellent, (VG) etc, all of these are my own records, my gradings are conservative. Only brand new sealed records are graded M, unsealed and barely played records are NM. Please note that some vinyl play better or worse on different equipment and even brand new records can have imperfections.
I'm not a trader or dealer but I have a lot of experience collecting and playing vinyl over many decades. I clean using art-du-son fluid and a Pro-Ject VC-10 cleaner.
