Pressed in limited quantities by Warner Brothers Records in July of 2015 for Barnes & Noble on really spacey beautiful clear brown and gold swirled vinyl (this copy is factory sealed) all corners are nice and sharp! No dents, dings, etc. truly BRAND NEW! from my own collection.

I use Goldmine's Standard for grading all the records I have for sale with a some added variations (I grade record and sleeve separately) I do not give much attention to visual as it's the sound that counts!, which means your vinyl will ALWAYS be-at least-as described (usually better) but never less. I will often add notes of my own which should only be considered my personal observations only, things like if I hear a pop, crackle or something like that. While I never sell a record based on visual appearance (how can one do that? I have no idea) I will let you know if I see any scuffs, or other aberrations. I DO NOT PROFESSIONALLY CLEAN MY RECORDS. I pretty much take it off the shelf and give 'em a good look over and then try to carefully listen to each and every album before giving a grade and listing here! I will always note any unusual wear to label and album sleeve, spine, etc. I often will give my opinion of overall condition but always use the much more CONSERVATIVE Gold Mine Designation (which you just can't argue with) as your final determination if an album is worth the price you're willing to pay. Of course, collector's albums and many unique records often don't require the quality of vinyl or condition to still command premium prices.

Factory sealed records are listed as "new/ sealed" as they truly cannot be graded (since they have never been opened. While t would be easy to give a brand-new record a M- (Goldmine's highest rating) because of varying qualities of pressings, other factors (often subjective, like what kind of stylus or tonearm, turntable you use, etc.) there really is no such thing as a "Mint" record. My highest grade is NM+ (which means to many people Mint, however, again what I hear on my turntable with my ears may not be what you hear.

All records are packed flat with extra re-enforced corners. My experience has been that no matter how well an album is packed there is a a fairly good chance corners may get dinged in shipping, therefore I encourage you to opt for Priority Mail which includes insurance, but it's up to you.

BELOW ARE THE GRADES AND DEFINITIONS: albums and 45's will usually be given THREE grades (one for quality playback of vinyl, one for visual appearance of vinyl and one for sleeve/label condition). I will often, also add my own "two-cents" regarding visual appearance and playback experience.

PLEASE,NOTE: I grade by LISTENING to each and every album individually before listing for sale ONLY! of course, I take overall appearance into consideration, but I would never even think of "grading" a record purely visually! It simply can't be done and is a reprehensible practice! Also IMPORTANT! I grade sleeve separately from lp. And visual separate from actual playback. While I might give an overall grade of say, "M-" for playback, the vinyl may have some small scuffs or thumbprints getting a VG rating and the cover may warrant a lesser grade (this is important for some collectibles where the cover may be worth more than the vinyl). This is just an example. Please inquire if you have any questions. Almost always I will be including photos and a detailed description will always be attached. I am always up to answer questions or send further details.

Mint (M) I do not use this grade ever! However I will use the grade, "NM+"

Vinyl

Absolutely perfect in every way. Certainly never been played, possibly even still sealed. Should be used sparingly as a grade, if at all. I DO NOT USE THIS GRADE-EVEN OF AN ALBUM IS TRULY "MINT". NM+ is my grade for an album many might consider "mint"

Near Mint (NM or M-)

Vinyl

A nearly perfect record. A NM- record has more than likely never been played, and the vinyl will play perfectly, with no imperfections during playback. Many dealers won't give a grade higher than this implying (perhaps correctly) that no record is ever truly perfect. The record should show no obvious signs of wear. A 45 RPM or EP sleeve should have no more than the most minor defects, such as any sign of slight handling. An LP cover should have no creases, folds, seam splits, cut-out holes, or other noticeable similar defects. The same should be true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves, etc.

Very Good Plus (VG+)

Vinyl

A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Defects should be more of a cosmetic nature, not effecting the actual playback as a whole. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are "OK". The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. Spindle marks may be present. Picture sleeves and inner sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP cover may have slight signs of wear, and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation, or cut corner. In general, if not for a couple of minor things wrong with it, this would be Near Mint.

Very Good (VG)

Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time. Goldmine price guides with more than one price will list Very Good as the lowest price.

Good (G), Good Plus

(A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be played through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear. A cover or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear, or other defects will be present. While the record will be playable without skipping, noticeable surface noise and "ticks" will almost certainly accompany the playback.

Poor (P), Fair (F) I NEVER SELL ANY RECORDS IN THIS CATEGORY!

Vinyl

The record is cracked, badly warped, and won't play through without skipping or repeating. The picture sleeve is water damaged, split on all three seams and heavily marred by wear and writing. The LP cover barely keeps the LP inside it. Inner sleeves are fully split, crinkled, and written upon.
