Grateful Dead 'The Workingman's Dead'.Original UK Warner Brothers orange label stereo LP.
The Dead's fifth album released on June 14, 1970. It was the first album they released that year and was a return to a country rock feel and the songs were all Garcia/Hunter compositions. With the upside down rear cover and A-1T B1-T matrices of the earliest issues of the first press!
The West Brothers matt textured sleeve is intact & in VG+ condition, with some edge/corner wear & some light storage rubbing on the cover, there is some sellotape residue along the opening edge and a name in biro on the rear cover. The spine is intact and still fully readable, the plain inner is intact & is in EX condition. The record is in visually EX condition with a couple of very faint sleeve removal hairlines and one or two light needle scuffs visible under bright light on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a few light spindle markings. The sound reproduction is EX, with definately no loud clicks or pops and definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some very brief background noise during the run in grooves, overall the record plays great and is a really loud & punchy listen! The matrix nos. are; WS-1869, A-1*T matrix stamper 1-J, B-1*T matrix stamper 1-E. This is one of the very early pressings of the original 1970 UK stereo 1st issue of this album!

All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide. All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!! UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2 KG!,
