Description
I'm now listing about 200 rock and pop LPs from the 70's and 80's. A friends partner is expecting his first child at age 60 and needs to raise some money. Most of these are Excellent to Near Mint condition with the original shrink wrap, if they came with it. Some were bought in South Africa so English albums, not wrapped for domestic consumption, will have it. Most of these records have been played once or twice to put them on cassette tape and again to convert to mp3. Otherwise they have been stored upright in soft plastic sleeves in stackable record containers.
This is a copy of the LP (A Ballad Of) A Peaceful Man by Gravy Train, South Africa reissue from 1979 on Vertigo STAR 5098 (6360 051). This issue isn't mentioned in the latest edition of Tapestry Of Delights so I'm guessing that it wasn't a big seller at the time.
The etched matrix nos. are 6360 051 A and 6360 051 B
The vinyl is in Excellent condition with no scuffs, scratches or other blemishes that affect play.. The labels are spotless with no stains, spindle lines, writing, stickers or scuffs.
The fully laminated cover is in Excellent condition There are no tears, scuffs, writing, stains, shelf wear, stickers or ring wear. There are two tiny scuffs to the bottom edge on the back and a small faint crease at the bottom of the opening. The spine is perfectly readable.
The clear plastic inner sleeve has a few handling creases and wrinkles..
Comes from a smoke free home.
