PLEASE CONSIDER THAT IN THESE EBAY AUCTIONS I USE A STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE GRADING SYSTEM THAT CAN'T DISAPPOINT ANYONE BUT THIS DOESN'T MEAN THAT ,FOR EXAMPLE, A VG+ COVER OR A VG+ VINYL IT'S EQUIVALENT TO "BAD CONDITIONS" BUT SIMPLY THAT MY GRADE IT'S STRICT AND PROBABLY EQUIVALENT TO AN EX OF SOMEONE ELSE WITH NOT A SO STRICT GRADE. I HAVE SOLD IN THESE AUCTIONS EX- RECORDS THAT WERE SURELLY M- COPIES BUT I PREFERE TO BE STRICT TO AVOID ANY DISAPPOINTEMENT BECAUSE I TAKE GREAT CARE OF MY REPUTATION.
Record Collector Magazine Grading System MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
graded VG/VG+ for a strict Record Collector magazine grading system
label: the white plum label TRA 230 it's in nice conditions with just some spindle marks around the centre and nothing else so VG++.
cover: the cover it's a very refined textured type ones and it's very flimsy. The drawnings it's very nice and well preserved on front except a partial ring more visible in the lower part. There's a spot in the left upper corner where a removed sticker residue it's present but this is a minimal defect, more disturbing it's a removing sticker tear on the back cover, in the right upper corner that you can see as white spot in the scans...anyway this too it's very small. The writings on the spine are close to completelly readables but there are some white spots, nothing of drastic but well worth to mention them. I grade the cover VG but as you can see it's a fully enjoyable cover...I'm just cautious!
vinyl: the vinyl does have a more important wear and there are two nasty marks on the side two even feelables in part but (INCREDIBLE!) they do not sound at all!!! So no repetitive clicks or stylus jumps, the vinyl play well. The only defect it's a minor crackling here and there but really for some seconds and the sound it's absolutelly not negativelly influenced by the superficial marks on the side one too. I grade this vinyl VG but he plays absolutelly well with just some crackling passages as in beginning of second track side one but as soon as the sound it's more full all the minor problems are finished and the sound it's absolutelly satisfactory. As I say usually when I propose not so perfect vinyls, this is not for a collector looking for an EX copy but if you are looking for a well playing copy with minimal playings defects this is for you, no probs.
review: On auction here the second album of this surelly minor progressive group but musically this is one of the more advanced of the seventies. The sound it's surelly jazz rock structured but this is not enough for to describe the innovative structure of this progressive music. The musical project it's surelly born for to realize a musical project without any commercial expectations and the result it's really not common but absolutelly not pretentious as something it's, in some moments at least, for a group that seems to me very similar to them: Gnidrolog. Here the result it's much more positive and uniform...I really recommend this lp to the best progressive listeners...don't miss!
