label: the black private Nazca Productions label doesn't have problems as marks, writings, scuffs, it's fresh and clean as the day of printing hence EX
cover: The cover doesn't have defects and it's still in shrink so a good EX absolutelly.
vinyl: The vinyl it's shining without marks and just some grains of dust. It plays perfect hence EX.
review:Very rare...highly respeced & sought Original 70's first pressing vinyl on the bands own (limited edition) private pressed label (Nazca Productions) ... thoroughly entertaining hardrock with psychedelic moves from this quintet, led by shimmering twin guitars, bass & drums backing a lead singer... the album is one of those big dollar ticket items sold in collector circles and copies never have surfaced other than once in a great while, meaning it's only getting more extinct by the day... 

Nazca Line was a late '70's progressive hard rock band from Lima, Ohio who released only this one album , The album was recorded at St. John, Ohio's Emersonhill Studios, Emersonhill which comprised as a barn with some basic recording equipment crammed into it. Tracks like "Outer Space Connection", "M.I.B. (Men In Black)" and "Stranger" are based on space and alien topics in a hardrock low-fi production which delivers the "right" sound and the musicianship is quite good, especially Dave Emerson and Don Smithey's twin lead guitar work. Highlights include the 9 minute Stranger with cool hard guitar riffing...

All said, the early 1970's styled hardrock sound has all the moves you might expect from a local band...ballsy fuzz riffing and in your face attitude and howling teenage vocals...The band name refers to mysterious landscape drawings in South America that 1970's pop scientists linked to UFO's, and which story this band bought into as evident from the psi-fi lyrics and flying saucer sound effects on the title track. The Lp continues in much the same style, musically dead on for local hardrocker fans given their direction by the Von Daeniken themes. Not a wimpy note in any tracks and does not get too proggy either. A couple of rootsy macho rockers sound in the vein of Magi while the instumental passages where they 'float away' actually have a nice psych feel. This is not a bluesy album but rather stoner teens trying to write long Ritchie Blackmore style guitar breaks.

Don't miss!!!  SORRY for the starting price but this is really the minimum I can accept for a so rare item and this is a correct auction very different the many "pushed up" auctions I see all around! Please open your eyes!
